Born 1948 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Studies of mechanical engineering and electrotechnology at the Technical University of Munich, graduating as Dipl.-Ing. in 1975.

Experienced in patents, designs and trademarks, litigation, licensing and technology sales of middle size and large companies.

Special technical background in general mechanical engineering and electrical machines, material technology, semiconductor technology, ceramics and glass technology, plastics processing and metal forming.

Member of national and international Patent and Trademarks Associations, as GRUR, AIPPI, FICPI, LES, INTA, CIPA.

Author of scientific publications relating to casting technology. Member of the Rotary Club, Executive Member of Board of the German Ski Association ASV, as a former ski racer being mainly responsible for training of young ski racers; playing golf, mountaineering.
