F. Peter Müller is a German and European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney. He is a partner of the intellectual property law firm Müller Schupfner (former Müller, Schupfner & Gauger) in Munich and, among others, Vice Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of INTA, a former member of the Committee for Computer Software Protection of the Federal Association of German Patent Attorneys and Managing committee member of the CTM Advisory Initiative e.V. F. Peter Müller studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich, the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden and law for Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys at the University of Hagen, Germany. He was educated at the German Patent- and Trademark Office, at the German Federal Patent Court in Munich, at the District Court of Düsseldorf and at an intellectual property law firm in New York. He achieved the master degree in electrical engineering and passed the Examination of Law for Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys in Germany, the German Patent Attorneys Examination and the European Qualifying Examination. Peter has also studied Mediation for one year at the University of Hagen.

The Intellectual Property Law Firm Müller, Schupfner & Gauger was founded 1931. Offices are in the center of Munich and in Buchholz, near Hamburg. Five partners and one consultant represent clients at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Plant Registration Office, the Federal Patent Court, the Federal High Court of Justice in nullity matters, the European Patent Office, the European Community Trade Mark Office (OHIM) and the WIPO. We are also involved in patent and trade mark infringement, employee inventions, licensing rights and questions of anti-trust law. We conduct patent and trade mark searches, provide technical translations, and are also called upon to act as technical experts in our specialist fields.
