F. Peter Müller is a German and European Patent and Trade Mark Attorney. He is a partner of the intellectual property law firm Müller Schupfner & Partner in Munich and, among others, Member of the Board of Directors of the International Trademark Association (INTA, New York), Member of the Council of the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA, Brussels), Chair of the Professional Affairs Committee (PAC) of ECTA, Chair of the CTM Advisory Initiative Association, Munich, Chair of the Mediation Association of German Patent and Trademark Attorneys (MAP, Munich), Member of the Standards Commission of the International Mediation Institute (IMI, The Hague), Member of the Panels of Neutrals of INTA, of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO, Geneva), of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution /CPR, New York) and an IMI certified mediator. F. Peter Müller studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, the Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich, the Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden and law for Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys at the University of Hagen, Germany. He was educated at the German Patent- and Trademark Office, at the German Federal Patent Court in Munich, at the District Court of Düsseldorf and at an intellectual property law firm in New York. He achieved the master degree in electrical engineering and passed the Examination of Law for Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys in Germany, the German Patent Attorneys Examination and the European Qualifying Examination. Peter has also studied Mediation for one year at the University of Hagen.


The Intellectual Property Law Firm Müller, Schupfner & Partner was founded 1931. Offices are in the center of Munich and in Buchholz, near Hamburg. Four partners, four associates and three consultants represent clients at the German Patent and Trademark Office, the Federal Plant Registration Office, the Federal Patent Court, the Federal High Court of Justice in nullity matters, the European Patent Office, the European Community Trade Mark Office (OHIM) before WIPO and in infringement proceedings before the civil courts in Germany.
