Dr. Christian Thomas is an Attorney at Law and managing partner with the IP Law Firm of KUHNEN & WACKER in Freising/Munich, Germany. He specializes in IP-related litigation and prosecution (in particular trademarks, domains, unfair competition, copyrights, design and product piracy).

Christian studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and joined the Munich Bar Association in 2005. He was awarded his Ph.D. from the University of Salzburg in 2009.

Before joining KUHNEN & WACKER he worked for a law firm in Australia, and he frequently lectures and writes on IP-related matters. Christian represents cases before the German civil courts, GPTO, OHIM, Federal German Patent Court, the General Court as well as the Court of Justice of the European Union.

His memberships include AIPPI (GRUR national and international) and INTA (International Trademark Association).
