Dr. Elisabeth Vorbuchner LL.M. is a qualified lawyer since 1993, and joined the law firm as a partner in 2001. She obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of London, and her doctorate in Munich.

After joining the firm, Elisabeth has continued to work in her preferred fields of competition, copyright and trade mark law. Her special field of interest is the Community Trade Mark system. She can give clients good advice on whether to counter-attack an opposition or negotiate and solve the conflict by a settlement agreement, which was her topic at an ECTA publication. Elisabeth is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and active in the CTM Subcommittee, representing Germany. Her articles on current German and Community Trade Mark topics are published in the INTA Bulletin. She organizes INTA's Non-U.S. Roundtables regularly at the host office of Kador & Partner. She is also a member of the German Intellectual Property Association (GRUR) and the German-British Law Association. AT the last meeting of the CTM Advisory Initiative, Elisabeth was elected as president for the next two years.

The firm was originally founded in 1935 as a firm of patent attorneys. Today it is a combined firm of patent attorneys and attorneys at law within the ANWALTSHAUS (Attorney's House) VOLKHARTSTRASSE 7 in Augsburg. Augsburg is the third largest city within Bavaria and just a 28 minute train ride from Munich where the European Patent Office as well as the German Patent and Trademark Office are located.
